Blood does two things badly: Mobility (lol DK) and AoE threat/dps.
Every other aspect; On-demand mitigation, sustained mitigation/healing, cooldown availability and effectiveness, burst threat, single target dps, mob control, kiting, even dealing with M+ affixes, is excellent.
Every class/spec needs to have a weakness. It just happens that DKs is mobility, but you still don't get everything. Prot Warriors have been in a bad place ever since the Ignore Pain nerf through the floor. They have the advantage of Damage. Not, you know, the more important part of their actual job.

Hey guys. I've been trying to get higher in my greater rifts but I seem to get stuck around 15-18 because my single target damage is way too low. I can kill packs of mobs just fine but as soon as the rift guardian appears it takes 3 minutes to kill him, and I run into the same problem if I get an extra health yellow mob with nothing around to use my shield glare or my taunt on to get extra wrath, as well as when I get unlucky with a map that isn't very dense. I was wondering if there is a different build I should use to help with my single target or if I'm just SoL as a lightning crusader.

I know, I don't have sockets in any of my jewelry. I'm working on it If I did have sockets, I'd be using my rank 9 wreath of lightning (it just works so well with my build imo). I'm not sure what other two gems I'd use - maybe the smite one and the increased damage after using my a primary skill? I'm only saying that because I use my primary a LOT to generate wrath when I don't have tons of mobs around me.

Edit: I usually duo with a monk that is more single target orientated so we've been doing t3 and t4 normal rifts and bounties just fine as well, Idk if that information would make a difference or not.
