Two-handing a weapon in DS3 works a bit differently than in previous games. The most important change is the addition of Weapon Arts, which, depending on the weapon, can do a great deal of damage, counter, or give versatility to your moveset. In any of these cases, your offensive potential is augmented. Jul 21, 2015 A member of the Silkfencing Team presenting some specific techniques using a heavy greatsword. Techniques presented are either drills or complete Rules of Montante Swordmanship by Master Figueiredo. Lucerne is a Weapon in Dark Souls 3. A polearm with a sharp, hard pronged head that inflicts thrust attacks. The Lucerne is wielded overhand like a hammer, or can be swung from the side to break through shields.
May 05, 2016 Thats not really good GS,Try Hollowslayer greatsword, that thing is my favorite and there are basically no downsides, exelent move set, exelent weapon arts, good poke, very good damage (40/40),and VERY light allowing you to wear whatever you like. Unless otherwise stated, the content of this page is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 License. If you're going Quality I would suggest Hollowslayer. A lot of the other (standard) Greatswords aren't bad but Hollowslayer is the Greatsword many consider to be best. Sorcerer/int builds: Moonlight Greatsword or Greatsword of Judgement. I like Moonlight more but there are some that swear by Judgement. Also seeking out suggestions for the Ultra Weapons. Specifically, the Cathedral Knight Greatsword and the Lothric Knight Greatsword. Ultra Greatswords will be the end of the weapons I have tested extensively and already made an outline for. This means that Curved Swords might take a longer time. I'm sort of dreading doing the Curved Swords anyways.

- Increase total cost for magical enhancement by 2,000 gp for cold iron weapons.
- Unlike the additional cost, the increase the weapon's hardness and hit points are only gained from its enhancement bonus, not its special abilities.
- If the weapon has a magical bonus greater than +5 or a special ability worth more than +5, the weapon is epic. Multiply magic cost by 10.
