- Uh, maybe a Vordt's Hammer build that uses firebombs to reset the frost status when necessary (i.e. At least, I think that's the most universal solution that is still simple to execute; blunt damage is super good in PvE, frost is great burst and triggers quickly, and stagger can let you lazily dispatch of many non-boss enemies.

Ring of Favor is a no brainer on pretty much any build, steel protection doesn't help as much as you might think, and unless havel's is taking you from over 70% (or 30%) equip load to under, its basically useless.

Frost is a Skill in Dark Souls 3. Not to be confused with Frost status effect. Weapons That Have Frost. Pontiff Knight Great Scythe. Notes & Information. Lasts 30 seconds. Buffs the weapon with Frostbite. It also emits a frost wave underneath the user that causes Frostbite. This also effects NPCs.

If he's refeering to the spell buff it costs 30 fp to cast, requires 15 INT and is a scorcery, so as far as buffs go it is ether a fixed percentage or like the lightningbuff/ darkmoon blade buff a 95% satright up damage from the catalyst you're casting it with. Nov 06, 2016 The damage discreprancy was caused by my SL130 being on something like 2-3 NG cycles higher than my SL38. This would suggest that either Frostbite scales with NG+ cycles (extremely unlikely) or the damage formula for Frostbite is actually in two parts: One part flat damage, one part percentage based.
